We all know friends or ourselves at times that make comments like,
“What did I do to deserve that?”
“Why does everything I touch go wrong?”
“Why does nothing good ever happen to me?
“Why is my life so hard?”
Is it fair to say those people bring it on their selves?
Do we make our own luck?
Do we secretly enjoy the feeling the disappointment gives us?
Do we give up trying because it’s the easiest way?
It’s easier to be mad at the world, your family, and your friends?
Do we think we are owed good luck, a good job?
WHAT IS KARMA
Karma is the law of moral causation. The theories of Karma are the underlying principles of Buddhism. Although this belief was commonly practiced in India before Buddha but it was Buddha that explained and put into practice the form of Karma we use today.

CAUSE AND EFFECT
To day we live in a fast world where everything we do works off “cause and effect” everything we do, everything we say has an impression on what will happen next.
In Eastern beliefs, the Karmic effects of all deeds are viewed as shaping the past, present and future.
Imagine the domino effect, dominos all standing to attention, all quite happy in their own space and time. The front domino tips and falls on to its neighbour, he then falls on to his neighbour and so on until all the domino lives are in utter chaos and it was all caused by the effect of the first domino falling.

Karma is not only about the good deeds you do to put things right but also about, your thoughts, words and actions. Everything we have ever done, said or caused is Karma.
Think of the judging attitude you may have about someone you don’t even know, maybe a celebrity or the bus driver on the bus to work this morning, that is Karma, your thoughts and actions of right here, right now do count. You may have unknowingly, unintentionally, caused your own suffering in the future.
We all produce negative Karma because we lack knowledge and keep on producing negative Karma.
Clean thoughts, kind actions, doing things for others, respect for our selves and others, doing the RIGHT thing.
We are in control of our destiny.

Very good. What goes around comes around.
Nicely written…
I wrote a poem about this same sort of thing called “God Don’t Like Ugly (Karma)”. When we do good, good comes back to us; when we do harm. harm comes back to us. There will be balance eventually.
Interesting. Thankx for the share.
Nicely written, Lisa. I have always been a proponent for Karma–do good things and good things happen to you.

That’s true. You will appreciate it in outer space. You shot an arrow through a bow and find your butt hit by it when it has completed its orbit. How’s that? Thanks for sharing some wisdom my friend.
