A Lot’s Going on

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you…

The people of God are active!

Every day, everywhere we turn, we find people who either are being touched by individuals or programs connected with the Body of Christ, or who are reaching out to encourage and strengthen others.

Many key Bible verses point to actions, opportunities and resources available to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, age or any other circumstances.

When we became professing members of a congregation, we committed ourselves to participate in its ministries through prayer, attendance, contributions of time and money, work and witnessing. - Not to serve the institution, but to intentionally work together to serve Christ and all the people for whom Christ gave His life at Calvary.

Jesus said, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”  How exciting to know that whenever we are hospitable, kind, supportive or caring towards any other person, Jesus considers it as a personal favor to Him!
