But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham” (John 8:40). “And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not” (John 8:45).
These verses from scripture are ones not often quoted, but yet to me they are some of the most profound. Jesus is the Savior, yet many including His own people mocked and persecuted Him. That is part of why I believe more Christians should press forward with endurance and faith. For all the persecution Christians suffer at the hands of the worldly, Jesus still suffered worse.
He was scourged, beaten, and nailed to the Cross for Our Sake, that we could be reconciled to the Father. Scripture tells us Love the Lord with All Your Heart,Mind,Soul, and Strength. When you feel run down, when you feel like you just can’t endure, ask the Lord to give you strength. Jesus spoke the truth, and the truth is Eternal. Even after this world is passed away, Jesus words will remain.
Some people, due to the hardness of their hearts have rejected the truth, but nonetheless God remains alive and well. For we that Love the truth of God, He is faithful, He promised never to forsake us, God gives me strength and I Love The Lord, even if the world despises me for it, I will remain faithful to Jesus and minister to the Hearts and Lives of those who will receive.
Pray For Me,
Sincerely and God bless.

I resubmitted the text because I had to repost the full scripture, I think the publisher edited it, but the correction should be posted soon
It’s perfect the way it is.
Great write, John. Jesus’ earthly life was from our perspective pretty dismal. Conceived out of wedlock (so it was thought), born in a stable, became a refugee at age 2 or younger to escape from a tyrant, raised in Galilee (can anything good come from there?), spent 3 years traveling with a bunch of guys who still didn’t “get it” that He had no plans at the moment to overthrow the Romans and physically take the throne as the king of Israel, and then He died in the most cruel execution method that blood-thirsty humans could think up, and then after all that: along come generations of people that He died for who don’t believe He ever existed.I think that that would be persecution.
John
This is timely. Thank you for such a good write. God Bless
