In a little french village the french village of Allouville-Bellefosse there is a strange oak chapel that is built into a tree. The Little french village is quite famous for the Chene Chapelle, it is amazing the craftsmanship that must have went into it. When you come upon it you see a wooden staircase spiraling around the absolutely ancient tree witch leads up to a couple of chambers of some sort. These rooms are used as places of worship by local villagers.
Being debated is the age of this magnificent tree but it can be agreed upon that this has got to be the oldest tree in all of France. They speculate that the tree has been around as far back as the thirteenth century when France was ruled by Louis IX, and to have survived the hundred years of war.
