God made man in His image and likeness, perfect originally trained to meet the primary purpose for which it was created. Able to maintain an intimate communion and fellowship with his Creator, and yet he was awarded the absolute lordship of creation, the total stewardship, God granted the great gift of free will, or that the man had the power and freedom to choose what he thought best. When man created in the image and likeness of God, was given free will, because if it were not so, the image would not be complete.

As God is a free, he just wanted man to be so, but in order to make him understand that he could not catch up completely to his Creator, subjected to a test, which if exceeded, would be ratified ultimately in their state of resemblance to his Creator. The high privilege of free will, was given only to man gave me so great and beautiful creation, it would remain for all eternity in his first state, in the case of choosing obedience or fall forever also this state, if he chose to disobey the order given by their God. The test was necessary to strengthen their moral character, but man, making use of this privilege, I freely chose to undergo under the influence of Satan cursed to disobey his Maker and follow the instructions of the Devil. With this disobedience of man’s moral character was completely changed, and not only lost the image of his Creator, but also lost communion with his God, that it had enjoyed before the fall broadly.

Chapter 3 of the Book of Genesis tells us in detail the fall of man. In the passage we see clearly the influence of Satan, under the guise of a serpent. We noticed his terrible cunning that persist exercising as much as their implacable hatred, but perfectly hidden against God and everything like that found in the world. We see the part that took Eva, first, establishing open conversation with the terrible enemy, then, watching with delight the temptation, then, taking into their hands so dangerous that fruit. So far, nothing has happened because God did not forbid to touch it, but after he dared to eat despite the well known divine order, and to top it off, came to share the same fruit to Adam and Adam, in flagrant disobedience of the mandate, accepts the invitation to your partner and eat of that fruit, thus making both the first sin, which was so bitter consequences for them, like all his descendants.

What was the outcome? His eyes were open, innocence and purity that had hither to lived, was destroyed forever the evil entered their hearts as the beginning of a life of evil that would take them every day away from that holy and beautiful communion with God, from which they had enjoyed. Then they had to account for his disobedience, without reasonable excuse to submit, and heard the fatal sentence from the lips of our God, fulfilling the threat been made.

After the tremendous failure comes the consolation saving provision prepared by God the Father in the person of God the Son, Jesus Christ, for the restoration of fallen humanity. For God so loved the Father who sent Jesus Christ his only Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish and receive everlasting life. Do you want eternal life? Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, repeating aloud: Lord Jesus I accept you as my Lord and Savior, I pray that from this moment to take control of my life. In Your name I pray. Amen
