Allahu Akbar

God comfort the families at FT Hood, TX during these unsettling times. The words we use may help bring healing.

Allahu Akbar has now transformed God is great into a phrase of hate.

Where is God when all this madness is performed?

Surely any person with divine ability would smite any person abusing his or her name?!

Throughout all the murderous preparations and calculated steps

free will would reign, until the second Alla… slipped through an insurgents lips.

The bomb would then explode or bullets would ricochet protecting the innocent.

Because no god should allow murder under the guise of his or her name,

but God I’m just voicing my opinion. Despite what some do, it is no slight upon You.

It could have been a Christian screaming “Long live Christ in schools,” before spreading

bloody mayhem.

After this FT Hood incident, maybe it was Your plan all along to show us, terrorists don’t

always need to be so radical.

Unfortunately, the tragedies of war will continue to trickle throughout our community.

Lord knows I would never condone such an act. Understanding the point at which the mind

snaps is a feat only a supreme being could comprehend and even divert.

Allahu Akbar: God is Great, probably the last phrase the victims heard? Maybe God doesn’t

want to shut radicals up? Maybe it’s His way to bring them peace during a time of so much violence.

The war on terror is becoming increasingly confusing! It is my hope that Allahu Akbar will not strike fear or ignite visions of horror. Radicals, insurgents, insane or cowards have a definite purpose. They chose this phrase to prey upon our religious intolerance. As long as we associate a Godly phrase with such destruction, we will live in division. That fear and intolerance shall perpetuate the storm.

Today, we need to embrace Muslims like never before, if we do not, we may never usurp terroristic power.
