I said I would not be using Triond again. This short piece is because og my concern at the news greeting me this morning.
Yesterday I deleted a poem I’d written some time ago, Girl in a Street. The poem is also published elsewhere and I want to link that version of iit when I write my blog entry later today at http://writingyourstories.wordpress.com/ I don’t believe it is a good idea having the post in two places.
Having deleted the poem successfully, I woke this morning to find a publication notice from Triond, congratulating me on the publication of my poem. Easy, you may think, delete it again. If only it were that simple. The poem is not listed in my published list. It’s definitely back on Triond as someone has commented on it. Maybe some of you have even seen it.
I gave no permission for the deleted poem to be re-published on Triond. Fortunately the link to the poem on the other site is still working, not affected by this. But, as I’m trying to establish my credibility on my blog page after recently publishing my book, I’d rather not have the poem in two places online. I believe what they’ve done is illegal.
I’ll be sending a copy of this post to Triond, but as we all know, the chances of any success are minimal. As I can’t access the poem through my own published list I’ve made a comment on my poem.
Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint.
