Published by Do you know that your church leader is responsible for preparing you for your calling in The Body of Christ? The word of God tells us the responsibility that church leaders have to the saints of God. That responsibility is to prepare the saints for the work of ministry and for edifying The Body of Christ. The problem with most if not all church leaders is they have been blind sided and side tracked. Now, the main focus of our church leaders have turned away from the saints of God and to things of lesser importance. Competing for the biggest congregation, biggest churches, money, positions, titles, promoting books, and fame. Has indeed taken center stage.
Church Leaders Responsibility To The Saints of God:
- Ephesians Chp. 4 vrs. 11= And He Himself Gave Some To Be Apostles, Some Prophets, Some Evangelist, and Some Pastors and Teachers,
- Ephesians Chp. 4 vrs. 12 = For Equipping Of The Saints For The Work Of Ministry For Edifying Of The Body Of Christ.
- Ephesians Chp. 4 vrs. 13 = Till We All Come To The Unity Of The Faith And Of The Knowledge Of The Son Of God To A Perfect Man, To The Measure Of The Fullness Of Christ.
God has placed spiritual gifts in each and everyone of his Saints. For the work of ministry and edifying The Body of Christ. It is the church leaders responsibility to prepare and help the Saints of God identify their spiritual gifts. So that the Saints of God can grow and mature spiritually for the benefit of The Body of Christ. The disappointing part , is the saints of God have become stagnated. If the word of God tells us that it is the church leaders responsibility to equip and prepare the Saints for ministry. Why do so many churches have so many people warming the church benches?
God requires more of the saints then just showing up on Sundays for service and Wednesdays for bible study, and paying tithes. Only to do it all over again in the coming weeks. God has a purpose for you to carry out within The Body of Christ.
The Kingdom Of God Is Within You
- Luke Chp. 17 vrs. 21 = nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
- 1 Corinthians Chp. 12 vrs. 27 = Now You Are The Body of Christ, and Members Individually.

You have hit the nail right on the head, the true leader is a servant, able to be humble and accept God’s Word in its entirety. Without spot or blemish but of human and spiritual compassion for all people. Of course I would rather have a leader that is human and can admit to his or her mistakes confessing their sins one to another and so on. Not a puppet that is going on feelings or emotions but of maturity and love.
