It’s not that you are perfect or better than anyone. You just can’t go to the night clubs because of God. He lives in you, and he is holy. When you walk into a club or a place where you don’t belong, everyone’s eyes will be upon you. When you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, your life could be taken. Listen to God’s spirit. Even you know that you shouldn’t be there. There are certain things that people do at clubs that God would not have his people doing. God’s people are peculiar people.
Deut 14:2
For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
There are certain things and certain people that we need to let go in our lives. God is in you, and if you don’t get rid of those things in your life that is not good for you, you will be carried down by the weight of the world. There are people that can stress you out and make you sad if not crazy. When you let certain people go, your health and mind is better. God can make more room to come in and bless you. You could live a long time. But pray for them that hurt you, and give them a glass of water if they need it.
Matt.5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you…
Sometimes you have to keep your distance from certain people. Don’t let their evil into your life. God will let you know and warn you who it is that you should stay away from. Follow Jesus and listen to the spirit that he has given you. Sit down, and take time out for him so that he may grow in you. Forget about what the world is saying and what the world is doing. When you follow Jesus, you can not go wrong. He will make your life perfect and holy in him. Sometimes it seems like a very lonely life in Christ, but he has chosen you out of the world.
John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (18) If the world hat you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. (19) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (20) Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you….
I named this article “Because of God”. When people don’t understand why you are so strong, you tell them it is because of God. When people don’t understand why you are not running with the crowd, you tell them it’s because of God. When people don’t understand why you are so blessed, you tell them it is because of God. The world didn’t give it to you.

Beautiful article*
Blessings.
Sincerely,
-Liane Schmidt.
Thanks! But, I did not write it alone. The spirit taught me. Always go by the spirit.
Hi Gail
Another fine article. You just keep writing like you have been and you are going to be doing fine. I pray that in the coming year that you will feel more of God’s presence. God Bless, Catelin
Thank you so much, Catelin. I feel his presence now and see how blessed I am just communicating with you and all of Triond.
Great truths, Gail. I think there is a place though to be with people in the places we ordinarily wouldn’t go, at times. Jesus did that to show them his love. I’ve been in situations like that before and it has given me credibility and opportunities to share. Of course, if those places pull you down, you shouldn’t be there at all. Brian
You’re right too, Brian. If God is leading you to go, that is a different story. You can be led by the spirit to go, and be led by the spirit to leave. Sometimes people will accept you, and sometimes they will not. You can have a great impact on a place, and sometimes evil is accepted so bad in that place you have to go. It’s going to be one way or the other.
Thank you for sharing this, Gail. I agree with Brian too. What we constantly need is His divine guidance and discerning Spirit so we will be able to stay on track. God bless.
Thanks Melody. You used some good words to put it just right. God bless you too.
