This year God is calling for all Christians regardless of denomination or location, to seek Him first and foremost. With the promise that if we do all our needs will be supplied according to His riches of glory, that are found in Christ Jesus.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Here are some promises and qualities that His righteousness will give to us. The righteous will not famish. Our mouths will be a well of life that feeds many with acceptable words. Our hope will not be moved and make us glad. It (righteousness) will direct our way and deliver us. Our works (fruits) will be a tree of life that’s recompensed (rewarded) to us. You will have satisfaction and light (or guidance from God) unto your paths. God will hear your prayers and grant you wisdom. This year God is calling for all Christians regardless of denomination or location, to seek Him first and foremost. Jesus said that everyone that follows Him was to serve the one true living God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

You will be blessed for trusting Him. But if you refuse and rebel against His command, your life will become like chaff (or a worthless tare) that’s driven before the hot dry eastern wind of the Lord.

Scriptural references are Proverbs chapters 10-15; Mark 12:29-33; Exodus 14:21;  Isaiah 27:8.
