We must come in from the darkness into the light. Worldly things are short-lived and perish. Internal values are eternal and redemptive. Truth resonates. Jesus told simple stories and our life should be lived simply, lovingly and with great joy. Doing good things for others insead of getting for ourselves can fill a void in us that nothing else can. God can take the garbage out of our lives and make something meaningful of ourselves and the life around us.
We all need a savior so that is why God sent Jesus, bringing meaning and purpose. When I am depressed and in the desert I know this even though it does not seem to help much at that particular time. Whoaaa…those times are tough. Being an emotional human being, I know it is hard to hang in there. But I also know that my spirit is still at peace and I am comforted at those times when I am in the desert, knowing that I am really okay and that I will eventually come out of it.
Jesus covered our sins and made a bridge over that gap we had, so that now we can cross over into eternal life with our Father God our Creator. Listen, I don’t just mean when we die— I mean right now while we are alive and living in this world. We can actually get to know Him and talk to Him and see the things He does for us. Not just big thing, but all the little bitty things that are just so noticeable as we grow closer and closer to Him as time goes by.
Jesus came back for us and He stands at the door of our hearts and is knocking. Goodness!!! Let HIm in!!! He will change us and give us meaning to our life. Say yes and open the door to that simple invitation that is offered to us. He will come in that door and open our ears and eyes to the true meaning that God wants us to have in our life.
CELEBRATE YOUR LIFE! We should take care of ourselves with internal values so that we can heal and so that we can heal others with our love, patience, true joy and happiness, and also that peace the surpasses all understanding.
I have learned to love all of God’s creatures because as the years go by I have grown spiritually and mentally in the understanding of how God loves. I know it is strange—really. There is no way I can understand that with a worldly concept because it is not of this world. Oh man, I love it!!!
Oh, okay…I’ll end here. My children tell me I am hyper, overly joyful, too talkative and will absolutely not shut up! I have just too many bad points to work on and I hope I can improve on alot of them; becauses it drives me crazy that I drive them crazy! But heck, listen, just give it a shot. Mother Teresa said, “We are not called to be successful. We are called to be faithful to God.” Well, I do want to be successful at whatever I do but I know that my first priority is to be faithful to God. All I ask it that you’ll give it a shot. Okay?
“Do as I say, not as I do!”
