When I was growing up, my mother taught me to never make fun of other people. I was taught that you will reap what you sow. Well, my mother didn’t lie. I have heard old folks say that you should never mess with a Christian. I understand now why they always said that.
In 2 Kings 3:23-24, Elisha, (who was a prophet), went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. (24) And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
Elisha had a gift and was very close to God. God answered him. Elisha was truly God’s prophet. In the Bible days, if you did something wrong in the eyes of God, and if you knew right from wrong, it seems that you were punished in no time. If you were God’s servant, and if you did what you were told to do, God looked out for you. No one could harm you. Think about these things.
