I really hope you dont close this page just because I am a Christian- so you figure I dont understand you or something, just hear me out. If you are an athiest… lets consider that there may be something bigger out there than man…earth…or the universe. If there were such a being that was willing to stoop down and call you friend and take away all of the wrong you’ve done in your life… wouldn’t you grab that chance? You may say, my sin is too big for any person to cover, consider that God isn’t a person and he knew all of the wrong things you would do before you did them. Becoming a Christian and putting your trust in God means that you admit he is out there and you are willing to change your heart to do his will. you may say that’s just a waste of freedom, no. God in turn will forgive you for all you’ve done wrong and, once forgiven you will be perfect in God’s eyes on judgement day… that means you will be allowed into heaven. Maybe you say “there is not heaven or hell” or “you dont have to be perfect, just good to get to heaven” my argument is what if your wrong? Are you prepared to live forever in torment and eternal pain? Why not just try out the whole praying, church and bible thing for a bit? Ask God to intervene in your life. God cares about you and loves you. He has been waiting for you to invite him into your life. He has big plans for you, he made you. If you invite him in he wont leave you like so many people in this life like to do, you dont have to fear his wrath because you are forgiven through Jesus’s blood. So, what do you say?

I agree. One of the greatest joys of my life is knowing that the Lord is bigger than my problems or circumstances. True, sometimes things don’t go the way you have planned or hoped. But the wonderful thing to remember is that God is in control. He never lets go or turns His back… even for a milli-second… no matter what is going on in your life or, on a greater scale, in the world, universe, or beyond. All is held in the hands of the one who created you and I. Now that’s a God worth serving!
