Do you have problems knowing the difference between a true practicing Christian and the many calling themselves Christians? Some information may help you to overcome obstacles during troubled times.

No one wants or expects trouble, but when it comes, it’s comforting to have good true Christian friends at your side to give you encouragement, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. While it is true, no man/woman is perfect; you can still tell a true practicing Christian from all others by using the following list as a guide.

1. Faith we have in God for all things in our lives whether we view it good or bad.

2. Glory we give to God for all things in our lives accepting no credit for that work.

3. Works we do on this earth, in the name of Jesus Christ, while we are here, promoting: sharing, giving, .helping, etc ., in a positive manner and with a positive attitude, expecting nothing in return.

4. Honesty toward ourselves and others but done in a loving, caring and kind manner because a person living a true Christian life does not go out of their way to hurt another person.

5. Commitment to doing our very best to being the kind of person God describes in the books of Proverbs chapters 1-31 and Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 of the Holy Bible.

6. Expectation that God will provide for us in every way shape and form, physically, emotionally and mentally.

7. Believing God created everything, therefore everything belongs to God; and God sent His only true Son, Jesus Christ, to us, who died on the cross for us, rose again on the third day and later ascended back to Father God to sit on the right hand of the Living God and intercede for us.

8. Love not just those who love us, for even non-believers love their friends , but love those that hate us for whatever reasons, and do only good to and for them that hate us.

9 . Forgive all who do wrongly to us , even if we believe the wrong is done on purpose and with malice. If we do not forgive we shall not be forgiven .

10. Understanding that no human being is perfect and most all human beings fear something or other.

11. Overcome most all temptations in our lives. I say most because God knows we are weak and falter, which is why we all must work together to help the fallen ones to get back up again.

12. Hope and Patience to wait for that which we know is coming to us. Nothing good happens overnight regardless of what some people believe or want to think. Romans 8:24-39

13. Pray to Father God through our Lord Jesus Christ for every single thing in our lives all day long. Prayer is only one form of communication with Father God, but it is the one we should all start and end each and every day with.

14. Judge not others based on a past mistake they had made. No human being can know what is in the heart of another. Nor does anyone have the right to withhold the teachings of God from another seeking God, for any reason. We human beings are the only ones who views sins by various degrees , God views all sin as the same and all punishable by death in the lake of fire unless you become a Born Again Christian under the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ.

These are just fourteen of the most basic guidelines and while I could go further in depth on each one I think it would be to your, (the reader’s), advantage to study the guidelines I’ve provided here and seek the truth within yourself, for yourself and go on from there.

Those that live Christianity does not commit hate crimes because it is against everything they believe in. God says vengeance is His, and God says we will all answer to Him on judgment day. While many believe Christian’s to be weak, in fact Christian’s are the stronger, because it takes a great deal more effort to do what is right than it does to do wrong.

A true Christian views Christianity as a way of life, and does his/her best to live a Christ like life. There are no double standards, no hidden agendas, and no secretive sides to them. A true Christian has his/her faith in God regardless of their personal and or family situation. They give God all the glory for everything in their lives, because what all humans view as bad are lessons to be learned and ultimately knows good shall inevitably come out of it, and what all humans view as good is a blessing given from God.

A true Christian believes that God is their Father and Creator, and knows that they are God’s children through Jesus Christ, God’s true Son. Because true Christians know who they are, they love themselves and therefore can honestly love everyone around them as Jesus Christ said in “Matthew 22:39: And the second is like unto it, Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself.” Loving your neighbor is not always easy and often takes a great deal of effort, especially if it’s a neighbor or a supposed friend that is causing you the problems. Do not despair! You’re not alone. A true Christian is known by their faith and their works as written in “James 2:17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Someone claiming to be a Christian yet does not give of him/herself is not doing the works that accompany being a true Christian. If a person is in need of clothing will prayer alone clothe them as you turn them away with out the necessary item(s)? Will prayer fill the stomach of the hungry as you turn them away with an empty stomach?

God says He will give back at least ten fold of that which is given with a giving heart, many of these people in need pray too, so God sends the needy to others who have some to share, ready to bless them ten fold at least for their giving heart. When a person gives from the heart it’s not just a physical giving, but a spiritual one as well. But, when a person gives reluctantly or grudgingly, there is no spiritual joy only chaos and conflict. A true Christian does not mumble, grumble, yell, scream, holler, or cuss a lot about things they can not change, or things that just doesn’t seem to go their way. Yes Christians do cuss on occasion and they are not perfect but if you have friends that meet a good portion of these qualities you are in good true Christian company.

In answer to your comment, people are not perfect, temptations combined with the evil thrusted into our minds every day through the media as well as fears created by the medias then discussed within various circles where other fear are entered into the pot and stired to create and generate even more fears. It gets so heavy the burdens become compounded and heavy, their ideas and outlook becomes distorted, confussing and scarry. This confussion creates even more fears, they make more mistakes, the biggest is in believing the lies the world generates that we need money to do anything. Money is simply a tool to use it is not life itself.
