The recent domino effect of high-end Richter-scale earthquakes has brought to my attention, and I’m sure to many other’s attention, the prophesies foretold in the Holy Scripture. More specifically the prophesies written in Mark chapter 13.

From what we can see in Mark 13:8, it states, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.” The first event which naturally came to my mind was the occurrence of earthquakes, which have just recently struck Haiti, Chile, and now, just a few days ago, Mexico. All of these earthquakes, 7.0+ in magnitude have happened in just a matter of several months. Yet this is not the only event which can be seen taking place in the prophesy.

Even before the earthquakes; as this verse seems to place these events in chronological order, was the warring of nations. Today wars are happening between many of the nations, including the American war against terrorism in the middle east, as well as growing tension from North Korea. In addition, ties between allies, as well as the involvement of the UN increases the number of nations involved in war today.

Thirdly we can see an abundance of famine and troubles throughout the world. Many of the situations in the 3rd world countries of Africa, Asia, and South America are well known to suffer from great famine of food and water among the people, as well as, but not limited to child prostitution, brothels, killings, and chaotic environment overall.

Any man of intelligence can see plainly that these are the same conditions that have always been on earth. These so called predictions were made by men who being sly as foxes merely wrote in the things that always reoccur on earth. Go read past prints of newspapers as far back in time as you can, and clearly these (un) holy predictions are so general as to be laughable, because men always are in conflict with one another, and earthquakes have always been present.

Hey Leonardo, When in history have 4 earthquakes hit back to back in a span of 3 months? All 7.0 and higher in magnitude? Please show me a source.

You should update this article. Since this writing, much more has been added to this life on Earth. Sure, as the same person of the other 3 comments say, there have been all of the things afore mentioned, but not in our lifetime. Many people are seeing the signs, only the sheeple are still sleeping. Good article, keep spreading the word and ignore the nay sayers. Namaste
