“and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously” 1 Peter 2:23 NASB

Reading from the text, Jesus did not hit back or retaliate when he was insulted. Instead, he left his case in the hands of the Father, knowing that God is just.

My friends only those who are busy doing things are criticized. The battle is lost, to those who hesitate for fear of criticism while victory and triumphs awaits those who continue.

Remember, if your cause is right, be not afraid of criticism. Express, explain and fight for your principles. Critics will always be a shadow that will follow you wherever and whatever you do. Be strong-minded and let each criticism be of help rather than a hindrance. Stand for that which is good [that which is right]. Be a doer, not a drone. Look the world in the face and let the critics criticize.

It is certain that those who gain or achieve anything meaningful in life are the target of jabs and jives of insecure and jealous lesser men. In contrast, those who, for fear of criticism, will be content pleasing everyone definitely end up pleasing no one.

Remember too that a relentless negative criticizers are basically angry persons. People who can’t escape from their hurts from the past and are looking for individual to hang their anger on. Basically, they are projecting their hatred on to others rather than resolving their problems.

On the other hand, learn to evaluate and make changes if it is necessary when you receive constructive criticism. Only mature person renders such criticism.

Wise advice indeed. The more we worry about what other people think of us, the more paralysed we become.

Criticism keeps us humble. There could also be a bit of truth in it. The three step process in dealing with criticism is 1)Learn from it. 2) Don’t let it bother you. 3) Move on.

Criticism may be a hard pill to swallow but it helps a person to cure many of his drawbacks(illnesses). But it requires a maturity to understand that. Some people understand that pretty quickly. But many people are very late. Some are intolerant to the core until their end. They are more egoistic.Thank you for giving an opportunity to read a good article.

I love this. When someone criticizes something you care about, it’s always tempting to think the worst of them but like you said, we shouldn’t take it to heart.

When someone criticises you, you should ask yourself if what he/she is saying is true. If it is true, then you should do something about it. However, if it is not true, then it only means that someone is probably envious of you or just teasing you or got nothing better to do. Therefore you must not get affected and must not mind him/her.
