Published by Do you know that as human beings we were never meant to be sick! Most of us are fooled by the fragility of our bodies and this fear cripples us. I think we give way too much importance to our bodies because we don’t realize that the body is just an envelope to the soul!
Every disease that shows up in the body depicts the condition of our spirits/souls; the body will never break if the soul is in good shape.
So how do we keep our souls in good shape? This is accomplished by thinking correctly!
Think only that God would think! As it is said in Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-keep thinking about these things only”.
Never poison your body with thoughts of Fear, hatred, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, jealously or criticism. Fear causes cancer, criticism causes arthritis. Go on a fast but instead of fasting food rather fast negative thoughts. Jesus said “what a man eats cannot defile him”
The greatest evil of all is self hatred! Once again as Jesus said “LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF”, unfortunately most people leave out the “LOVE YOURSELF” part and wonder why relationships don’t work out. Remember no body can complete you unless you complete yourself first! The same measure that you apply to yourself, you will apply to everyone else. I tell you it is a sin to hate yourself, we are all creations of GOD, how dare anyone despise what GOD has created! Ninety percent of society’s problems can be solved if everybody started loving themselves first. A body that is filled with love, functions like clockwork!
Practice forgiveness, love, and kindness. Focus your mind only on that which is good and pure and when the condition of the mind improves the condition of the body will automatically improve.
Too bad there isn’t a cure for ignorance and gullibility.
