“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8-9.
If you have accepted the God of Jesus, the Messiah, then the verse you’ve just read has given you your path to Success. For many believers, they wonder why they are struggling in their spiritual, material and physical Life. If you are a believer, yet you find yourself stumbling about, ask yourself some questions – be honest with yourself and make sure that you are walking in the faith that is given as a gift. “Am I being renewed daily in the spirit of my mind, am I being transformed from within?” (Though your situation or circumstance may be the same; as time goes by, your physical body may be perishing (with old age); are you being renewed from within — in your spirit man? (soul, heart, thoughts, etc.)) Read Second Corinthians 4:16, 13:5; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 2:8-9, 4:23; Hebrews 11:1,6.
We learn in Joshua, that a person is to meditate upon the Word, Day and Night; they are to Speak the Word to themselves. For most believers, they are not doing this. The Word of God has no real spiritual meaning to them; in the end, they suffer more spiritually than what they should. (Yes, We are to be tested in our personal life, in all kinds of areas so that we can grow spiritually – but, we’re not to accept the situation that we’re facing as defeating us) From within, they’re like a yo-yo when it relates to their emotion and feelings. For All Believers, the issues of their personal life are to be established in what God has spoken through His Word, the Scriptures. From there they are to meditate, speaking it to themselves Day and Night. By doing this, the believer is able to observe and do the things that are revealed; the end result is prosperity in All of the Areas where the Word is being Claimed. By doing this, the believer will learn of the Truth, which will set them free. By doing this, the believer is keeping their mind on the Lord, they are being renewed from within — which brings His Inner Peace at that moment. God tells us in Isaiah 55:11, that He works in our personal life, according to the Grace that is within us – if a person is not standing on the written Word, then His Grace can not shine out on their behalf, read Matthew 4:1-11; John 1:1-14, 8:31-32; Ephesians 3:20.
Remember, you are made in the image of God, you are His Direct Offspring, you can speak things into existence. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, All Things are possible, read Genesis 1:24-31, 2:19-20; Philippians 2:5-7; John 14. Know this, however a person
Thinks, that is what the person becomes, this is how they will react, how they’ll reach out, read Proverbs 21:5, 23:7. This is why God tells us to dwell upon His Word Day and Night, so that we can learn about who we are in Him and what he did for us by sending Jesus to die on the Cross, read Second Timothy 3:16-17; First Peter 2:2; Second Peter 1:20-21. The end result, God is able to affect the Invisible Realm of Life, which is then manifested in our Material/Physical Life, read Colossians 1:16. Yet it ALL begins with our attitudes and how we dwell in our Minds, both Day and Night.

Mr. Thompkins article “Day and Night” reminded me again of my need to be present with the Lord “Day and Night”! It also strengthend my knowing that our thoughts are our realities through our wonderful Jesus Christ!
