Does God Hate?

 In the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth in 7 days. From that day he knew exactly when everything in the world is going to take place. He sees our first words, when we are small children. He knows about our first big sin that we commit. Now this is way before we come into existence mind you? I was bothered by the Statement, “god hates you!” Now we all know who referenced this. Shirley Phelps roper from the westboro baptist church. Meanwhile, what she says is partly true. She reads straight from the bible and mostly everything she says is relevant. The only problem with this is that she is focusing on the negative side of god rather than the positive. Let me ask you a question? If god hates the world, don’t you think we would all be burning in hell right now? Don’t you think the Apocalypse or “Rapture” would have happened already. We all know that God picks the day and time of which he wants this world to end. He is not a hateful god. In the bible it says to love and forgive your neighbor because Jesus did. If Jesus can find it in your heart to forgive why can’t you?I know alot of people in different religions, They may not believe what i believe about god.  I am not going to crucify them for being who they are. I don’t know if anyone has ever noticed that God is very tolerant and forgiving? even when we mess up real bad he gives us a chance to have our sins forgiven. Alot of people don’t believe in god,maybe they just need to see the light. Our job as Christians is to evangelize not to terrorize people into joining our faith. I encourage diversity because i know there are alot of different religions out there. We are really not all that different, it’s basically all the same story, just told a different way.
