Is it ever possible to live without anxiety? Think about this. What a life it will be to when it is anxiety free life! It seems impossible because we are faced with the problem of our personal needs, job, bills, etc. However, with God it is possible to life outside anxiety.

DON’T BE ANXIOUS

Text: Philippians 4:6 and 7 – Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (New American Standard Bible).

Is it ever possible to live without anxiety? Think about this. What a life it will be to when it is anxiety free life! It seems impossible because we are faced with the problem of our personal needs, job, bills, etc. However, with God it is possible to life outside anxiety. This is so because when we understands He holds our future, we will easily commit our lives and needs into His hands with the knowledge that He is able to keep whatsoever is entrusted into His hands (Psalm 91:11 and 2 Tim 1:12).

In our text, Paul advises us with the Philippians that we should turn our worries into prayers and having done that, should leave everything else to God (Psalm 37:3 – 5). When we have done this, our worries will turn to peace which no human being can comprehend (John 14:27). They will begin to imagine how a man, faced with these problems still feel untouched. This is a mystery found in God. Anxiety springs from the desire that things should happen as we wish rather than as God wills. True peace does not mean absence of conflicts and problems but that God is control of your affairs. Peace guarantees us that our victory and destiny are sure. You should be spiritually minded and have peace with God (Romans 8:6). Do you desire that peace of God? Note Romans 14:17. Be part of God’s kingdom to enjoy this peace and anxiety free life.
