Eight keys to God’s plan for your life
Key One: We need to strive to become what we think and believe, our preception.
Numbers 13: 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
Numbers 13: 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
Numbers 13: 33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
**The ten spies with a bad report.
**What you “see” will affect you.
Proverbs 23: 7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
**What do you think? It is what you will become.
** We cannot become what we do not understand by our thoughts.
Key Two: It is our thoughts that create our today and tomorrow.
Isaiah 55: 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
**God’s plan may not be what we think or believe at the moment.
**Yet God can quickly bring about His plan.
Key Three: Writing down establishes the paths of our tomorrow.
Jeremiah 30: 2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
**We need to write down our goals, short, medium and long term.
**Keep a journal for your thoughts, including answers to prayers and those things that came about by praying and planning.
**Proper planning will bring about the results we are believing for.
**Planning, scheduling, goal setting are necessary to succeed.
**Peace comes through planning.
**Unplanned days become unpredictable and unproductive.
Key Four: Every action builds upon our future habits and destiny.
Matthew 7: 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
** Ask, seek and knock are actions that open doors.
**Priorities, goals, pursuit will bring about answers.
**The outcome of our lives is based on our action and routines.
**”They say misery loves company” Be careful of your company you keep.
Key Five: Looking at the cost now can save some embarrassment later.
Luke 14:
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
**If you have uncertain “heart” towards your destiny it may be an indication that the cost is too much for you. This position or thought says to yourself that you are not sure of where you are going, or what you need to do. You need to wait until you are certain.
Key Six: Prayer in the Holy Spirit will transfer God’s thoughts without the input of our human mind.
Romans 8: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
**God’s plan may not be what we think or believe at the present moment.
**God can bring in out in a short time.
Key Seven: Our mind needs to be in line with God’s Word.
Romans 12: 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
**We must not be like this world or it will stop us from God’s plan.
**We must prepare today and for our tomorrow.
Ephesians 1: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
**We need to not only understand but embrace wisdom with revelation that shows us what we do not understand.
Key Eight: What you make happen to someone else will happen to you.
Ephesians 6: 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
**You may not get anything from the person you help, but you will from God.
**Keeping your mind on others helps you not keep it on you.
**This horizontal effort brings about vertical results.
