Executed Plans Beyond the Shadows of Uncertainty

Planning would lead us to put our daily routine in order and which would keep us from stress. However, when faced with situations which would test our patience, it is always good to ask the One above and consider how He had planned life for us.

Curiosity would sometimes lead us to venture and experience something very extraordinary. Determination will drive us to go for it. Otherwise, it would be frustrating for not “trying” at all.

When things don’t work the way we expected them to happen, frustration comes and will keep on meddling until we choose and decide to overcome it. Expectations brought by standards require the highest peak of excellence, rebounds when executed without a definite planned target. Therefore, plans become the core of every mission, a guiding principle to start and end a challenging endeavor whereby, an output determines the kind of plan that was laid and executed beforehand.

Oftentimes, as plans are being implemented, revisions occur that sometimes would make it to become unstable. However, goals and purposes must remain. Plans therefore should be flexible, enough to contend with unexpected circumstances while it is in action. It seemed to be, “too demanding” but it pays a lot to accomplish a certain goal. Otherwise, plans will become “stocked victories” good for nothing if not implemented diligently.

Who would ever want to have a “stocked victory”? Whether we admit it or not, we want victory in everything we do. Sometimes, it deviates because of our personal standards that we think are the best but actually the best among the worst!

In a busy world, the real scenario is that everyone’s on the loose doing things that seemed to be true. Workaholics are in every place to work out things according to arranged plans. However, in the face of those busy hours and days, it seemed to be easy doing things according to plans, we get used to it despite of pressures. On the other hand, little space and time did we ponder if this kind of routine is the kind of life the Lord wanted us to have. The Word of God in Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future.”

A promise which can be obtained through obedience which seemed to be difficult most especially at times when we think that there’s no way out, and it would be better to rely on chances and fortunes than getting hooked in situations we’ve never expected. The key is to believe and trust the One who had said it, and follow directions.

However, problem comes when commitment and responsiveness are forgotten where, in Proverbs 16:3 it says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed”. The word “whatever” meaning “anything” we think, say, or do must be committed to the Lord through constant communication with Him so that He will lead us to understand his excellent plans.

Let us acknowledge that we are limited which makes us imperfect. We can only make the best plans but never the perfect ones because it is God’s business to perfect things. He will work with us if we allow Him.

In the midst of a certain undertaking, sometimes it is also that time when things start to crack down though plans had been laid for directions. For whatever reasons, the right move is to have an attitude that trusts the One above because the plan was already made and sealed by God’s Word (Jeremiah 29:11), and is no longer irrevocable for God never lie and doesn’t change His mind from time to time. It’s up to us to believe and decide to look straight ahead, to penetrate the shadows of uncertainty because we already have God’s promises.

Our obligation is to follow directions with all our heart because the future is still controlled by God. Our attitude changes our character and though it’s difficult to continue when our plans start to crumble, it is always best to go back on the Word of God, His plans and promises. Why, because we did not make ourselves. It was Him who created us. Therefore, our journey all throughout the implementation of our plans is safe in His hands. That is, if we believe beyond the shadows of uncertainty.
