Genesis 1:3 – 5; 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
First way concerning us
May it be this truth that that sets you free, that a new first day may come. That His light will separate any darkness in your life that surrounds you. There may be an evening, but there will be a new first day that follows that.
Second key within God’s word
Psalm 18:28; You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
Psalm 119:105; Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Second way concerning us
As this new first day begins and you now have His light as a lamp burning and God’s Word, scripture to guide you, any darkness will be separated (overtaken) and light will proceed before you.
Third key within God’s word
Psalm 27:1; The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
Third way concerning us
Fear can not stand against faith, light and salvation has become your stronghold, that which now becomes your strength.
Fourth key within God’s word
Psalm 119:130; The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
Fourth way concerning us
Reading scripture, God’s word, not only will give light, it will help you understand circumstances and situations that you did not know how to overcome before.
Fifth key within God’s word
1 Peter 2:9 – 10 (9) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (10) who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Fifth way concerning us
We are no longer of an earthly heritage or descent, God is our Father and we are His son’s and daughter’s. We could not give mercy, because we had not yet received that until we became of His heritage and descent.
Sixth key within God’s word
Colossians 1:12 -14 (12) giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. (13) He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, (14) in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Sixth way concering us
Our inheritance is not one of only earthly rewards; we should consistently show our gratitude in that we have been qualified to receive an inheritance. Having been set free from the darkness and its domain, receiving our salvation, the forgiveness of sin, by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection for each one of us.
Seventh key within God’s word
1 John 1:5 – 7; (5) This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. (6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. (7) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Psalm 23:4; Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Seventh way concerning us
We can not walk in darkness and believe we live in truth. As we continue to meet, worship and fellowship together, the blood Jesus shed for each one of us at Calvary cleanses us. Even when we go through difficult situations and circumstances, we need not fear because God is always with us, no matter where we are.
