From The Journal of a Friar, A.d. 1222

This is a fictional work, made by me, about the regular life of a friar in Medieval Times.

My name is yet unknown to the people of the world

But that is not my mission in life

I walk through villages and sites

Down the roads of the poor

My vestments, brown and white we wear

Inspiring our intelligence, reassurance, trust, and peace.

I sing them hope and well being

For they shall come to peace

I preach of salvation to those that seek the love of God

And God shall shower them with what they pray

I am of the rich, but I have humbled one’s self

For this shall be the reason we suffer

And yet, we live in peace
