This weekend my wife and I led our first three people to the Lord Jesus Christ! We feel so blessed that he used us in this way; we are humbled by his majesty. What is more he used us to heal someone, I just have to share this testimony with you.
My father has a domestic named Elizabeth, she was told and I confirmed it by reading the CAT scan and MRI scan that she has a mass lesion on her brain. A mass lesion is a tumor. I asked her if words like malignant or benign were mentioned. She was told it was malignant For those who do not know, this means the tumor is cancerous – cancer!
I spoke to her on Friday morning and told her I want to pray for her, I suggested to her that she should accept Jesus Christ as her Saviour, my main concern at the time was that if something should go wrong and she should die I did not want her to go to hell. She had many health problems and is not physically in good shape to receive anesthesia. I told her it would have more effect if she gives her life to Jesus and that she should go and think about it.
That afternoon she called Lizette (my wife) and I to pray for her. Lizette led her to the Lord by way of the salvation prayer and then we laid hands on her and prayed for her healing. I cannot remember what was said in prayer and we know that means the Holy Spirit was at work. On Sunday she called Lizette to pray with her again, she asked if her kids could be present and the both gave their lives to Jesus. Monday she went to the hospital to have her brain surgery and at 11h30 I received a phone call from her to say she was on her way home. She has no tumor, only a contusion. This is a clot or bruise that will dissolve with treatment. This is a far cry from a malignant tumor.
Now my background is as a medical underwriter and whilst I am not a doctor I have read enough reports to know the difference between a mass lesion and a contusion. We praise God for his miracle of healing on Elizabeth. We know that God has a special plan for her and know that her testimony will lead many people to Jesus Christ. We give him all the glory. Praise God!
