Perhaps it is in our moments of sorry and pain that when we cry out to Jesus we feel the closest to Him. Then we experience His true loving, caring and healing nature. Perhaps that is when we get the deepest sense of just how much He really loves us, how much He really cares.

Are you hurting right now? Please do not take comfort in alcohol, drugs or illicit affairs. That will only exasperate the problem and make it worse.

Instead, go to Jesus. Find a quiet place. Then, take it all to Him. Give Him your hurt, your pain, your anger. Not only can He take it and will He take it but, when you have emptied yourselves of your pain, sorrow and anger, He will then fill you with His gentle wonderful love and healing.
