Give God the Glory

It is important to give God the glory.

It is easy to say, “I did this or I did that.” We must always remember to Give God the glory for whatever we are able to do or for what we have done. Without him, it would not be possible. Sometimes things that we think are good for us do not happen in our lives because it is not God’s will. Most of the time we give our presidents, our spiritual leaders, our preachers, and the Pope all of the glory although we may not mean to. It is important to include God and practice giving him the glory.

In the Book of Daniel 4:33, Nebuchadnezzar was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagle’s feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. (34) And at the end of the days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation…

God punished Nebuchadnezzar. He was made less than a man. After Nebuchadnezzar was free from his punishment, he began to give God the glory. Nebuchadnezzar was a king that made an image of gold to worship according to Daniel 3. That time, after his understanding returned, he worshiped the true God of heaven.

In the book of Acts 12:21 “And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. (22) And the people gave a shout saying, It is the voice of god, and not of man. (23) And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.”

You see, the man that was in royal apparel was now rotten and eaten by worms. Herod took the praise for himself and did not give God the glory. We must remember to give God the glory.

When God is all you have…you realize that He is all you need
Miracles do happen! They happen when you finally stop trying to fix things on your own and surrender it up to God.

When God was all that I had to lean on for help… I realized that He was all that I needed for healing.

Be encouraged no matter what you are going through because God is waiting for you to stop trying to fix it so He can help.

Call on Him, surrender it and wait!
