Published by Scripture tells us “Psalm 14:1-2 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good. The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
I have stated previously that God does not believe in Atheists, some people have willingly denied God’s existence because acknowledging God means submitting to His authority and many people want to do their own thing. The atheist KNOWS God exists, but willingly denies that God exists.
Why would someone do such a thing? Vanity, simply vanity. The root of humanism is (as the word implies) human narcissism. Scripture tells us that in the last days scoffers will come, the atheist is fulfilling Bible prophecy about the last days and is too blind to see it.
“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” 2 Timothy 3:2
I pray that people will see the error of their ways, God loves people and it is not His will that any perish. He put the laws of nature in place and gave us a conscience for a reason. He wants the best for us, He sent His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The Love of many has waxed cold, which is very sad. I pray people’s eyes be opened.
A couple things to keep in mind dear ones, “God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” I JOHN 4:16.
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8
And shall have everlasting life. Amen!
This is so true, and I have thought the same thing. I do have to oint out that there have always been scoffers, both within and outside of God’s church. One of the hardest things to do, I think, is to ascertain not who belongs to the church, but who belongs to the family of God.
AMEN! and so it is.
They say there are no atheists in foxholes. I think that when people are in trouble, or frightened, they instinctively think of God.

It is amazing the amount of doublethink that you come up with. You cannot possibly look into the mind of all atheists and find out their true beliefs. Claiming that you can is not only ridiculous but also a lie which I believe is a sin. Also I love how you deride human vanity when to my mind there is nothing more vain or arrogant than claiming that you have the objective truth.
Jesus tells us “If you really believed Moses, you would believe me. Moses wrote about me” John 5:46
Anyway Jamie I know several atheists and their mindsets are all the same, I have not met one yet that did not attack faith or scoff at God. The carnal mind is in emnity against God, that’s why we are told to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6
the Son of God confirmed the validity of the scriptures and used them on a number of occasions he also said that He is the Way, THE truth, and THE Life, therefore saying that the Bible has authority is not vain, or lying Jamie, I will pray that your eyes be opened you are obviously a “doubting thomas” but Seek and you will find.
Something to think on Jamie, 1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God”

the very term “atheist” means “a person that does not believe in God” therefore in response to Jamie saying that “You cannot possibly look into the mind of all atheists and find out their true beliefs” I will make the point that behaviors reflect beliefs (or lack thereof) and Jesus told us people would be known by their fruits, also unbelief is a reflection of the fact that “The carnal mind is in emnity against God” Anyway take care
Dear Jamie, there was no “doublethink” going on, atheists have willingly denied the existence of God, their actions testify that they are unbelieving, there is plenty of evidence of God, but atheists are willingly ignorant of it, John never claimed to be able to see inside the minds of atheists, you chronically make the mistake of reading things into his articles that aren’t actually stated. STOP IT, he stated “Atheists know God exists” which EVERYONE instinctively knows,as was stated the term atheist is someone who doesn’t believe in God. It does not take mindreading to figure out that the motive behind atheism is human rebellion, it is the height of human narcissism.
Atheists “can’t” find God for the same reason a burglar or rapist “can’t” find a police officer, they’re running AWAY from accountability.
It was lie because you cannot possibly say that everyone knows that there is a god. I have never known there was a god I have never felt his presence in my entire life thereby disproving the theory that everyone instinctively knows there is a god.
Jamie, common sense,logic,conscience,everything that exists testifies to God’s existence, if you “haven’t felt his presence” it is only because you deny Him,Seek and you will find I gaurantee it. He loves people, he’s not going to force himself on you but he made it clear that scoffers are without excuse, you have a heart,intelligence conscience, how you can possibly deny that is beyond comprehension you have not “disproved the theory that everyone instinctively knows there is a god.” you have just shown that you are good at denying the fact that everyone instinctively knows there is a God.
The stubbornness of atheists to explore the possibilty of God shows how truly deceived they really are.
