There is a passage in the King James Version of the bible that says in paraphrase two things: “God helps those who help themselves” and “Everyone cannot be saved”.  Now this is not an article on rhetoric on being holy or how to be saved by Jesus Christ. This is my own reflection on those documented words in a book called the Good News by many Christians and others that believe the words in the scripture to be divine.   Even more, it is a reflection on sayings that people of all cultures can relate in their lives that has nothing to do with a reflection of a God consciousness, but as a reflection of what to me is a in a spirit of common sense.

If you do not help yourself in seeking truths or knowledge, you will have none. If you want to preach the bible or need help with understanding, “The Word”, then you have to read, “The Word”, by referencing it, by reading from here to China as said by Jesus Christ when it comes to understanding the very parables written about him.  This also goes for reading beyond the sermon of the day.   Perhaps reading the entire chapter of what a pastor preaches on a Sunday prayer meeting or religious gathering.

Forgetting any religious dogma for a moment, when I heard these three statements that, “God helps those who help themselves”, “Everyone cannot be saved” and “Study for here to China”, I was sold as to how to live my life and understanding what it means to be happy.  For one, I no longer had to concern myself with helping those who do not want to be helped; the meaning put to being saved with irrelevant.  Sometimes we put so much effort into trying to help others that it because a matter of being abused by the person or persons we are trying to help.  When helping others that are abusive, we also lose our on path.

My theory is that it is not fair to either of the lives of either person(s), for both get lost in elevating to their true potential.  Time gets wasted and in many cases years get lost.  What gets accomplished when trying to save someone from what in come cases could be their own learning process is that the soul who spends hours upon months upon years trying to alleviate problems one may have caused on themselves because of their choices, rips the opportunity for the helper to truly accomplish their own missions in life that could have or be to help hundreds of thousands if not millions in some form of human growth.

The treat of hellfire and or any prospects of a heaven after physical death needed no bearing on my decision making of how to live happy, how to help others, how to succeed in the pleasures of life, building relationships, learning and in work.  It all seemed a matter of common sense to me just as the world being a Pangaea means that all humans are connected, as well as, the source of human thinking and ways of life.

To me faith or hope has nothing to do with what a person said, thinks or is considered to be the interpreter of a script or scripture.  It just simply doesn’t take much for me to understand being human is a lifelong experience that is beyond birth or death and that spirit is eternal.   One’s spirit begins to grow from the moment the body breathes the earth’s atmosphere.   Besides, everything learned lasts forever don’t it?  Even If one cannot immediately recall an event, thing, person or place, the image, sound, taste, touch and smell one experiences is recorded in the mind forever.  What do you think?

I believe you have displayed some meaningful views here. If possible we must help those who need guidance or assistance in a manner in which we can. Some may say they don’t need or want help due to pride issues.
