Published by God’s word is the words He spoke directly to us either through His messengers, visions, dreams, revelations, or the written word (The Bible).
His word is the creator’s manual in the purpose, use and how to live our lives on earth. No one knows the uses of a product better than the manufacturer, hence any other use of a product other than that set out in the manufacturer’s manual is an abuse of such product.
This is also true of mankind. God is our maker creator and manufacturer and He has set out a manual by which e expects us to live and that manual is His word(The Bible),anyone who lives his/her life outside the dictates of the word is abusing his life.
The word of God as a manual covers every aspect of life ranging from marriage,finance, spirituality,business,education,salvation etc,in fact, it leaves out no aspect of life. It is however, unfortunate that many people today, especially Christians are living their lives outside the dictates of the word and this is why many are living with struggle and pressure and lack direction.
The word carries so much virtue that it is impossible to have a lasting success as a Christian without consulting the word. When you reject God’s word, you become a victim of life (darkness) for God’s word is the true light (john 1vs 1-3) the only true answer to every question of life is in God’s word.
There is a platform that we need to move up to access the virtue in the word (Rev 4vs 1) as it grants you mastery of every situation and circumstances of life. It is potent and powerful against every storm of life and gives revelation.
Since the word carry so much virtue, the question therefore, is how can we or what do you do to access these virtues in God’s word? The following are the routes by which you can access the virtues in the word of God:
Be Born -again
Being transformed is the first step in accessing that which is in God’s word( john 3vs1-3, Mk 11vs 11).Most of the time men hear God’s word but it makes no difference to their lives, this should not be surprising because until you are redeemed you cannot see that which the word holds. Your destiny by what you see. A valid salvation guarantees access to the mystery of God”s word, church membership does not guarantee salvation.being born again i.e when you hand over your life to Christ you has instant access to the revelations in the word.
Fear or Reverence God
The bible declares that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom “wisdom is a revelation that grants you mastery over a particular situation. When you live your life in reverence of God you are granted instant access to revelations in His and secrets in His word. Joseph had this fear (Gen42vs8) this is why he was granted the revelation of the meaning of Pharaoh’s dream and the solution to the dream. Do you reverence God with the way you live your life? If no, isn’t it time for you to live in reverence to Him so you too can have guaranteed access to His secrets?

Humility
It takes humility to access God’s unusual revelation. The quality of your humility determines the limit of your access to his revelation. Humility is not about pious looks but the state of your heart, your ability to obey simple and given instructions without complaints.Matt11vs 28-29.Humility is a fundamental requirement for accessing God’s secrets. God resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble.
The Love of God in Your Heart
The stronger your love for an individual, the greater he access he has to your confidentiality. The same goes for God, when He sees how deep your love for Him is, He grants you greater access into His secrets. You have greater access to those virtues I His word as your love for Him grows because He bares His heart to you.Prov23vs26.Position your heart to love Him today and see how your access to divine insights in His word grows.
Peace
Ps46vs10, 1King19.God does not operate or reveal in chaos or violence. The more peaceful you are in your spirit, the more receptive you are to God’s voice. Let your spirit be calm and you will hear His voice clearer. The more troubled our heart the more disconnected you are from getting His revelation.
You Must Be Thirsty To Hear From Him
Thirst or eagerness to hear from God increases your chances or sensitivity to access His secrets.Isaiah41vs17.He does not waste His water, He pours it n dry or thirsty ground.Isa44vs1-4.You need genuine thirst to tap into divine revelations.
Joy
Isaiah12vs3, A broken heart is an unreceptive heart. No revelation can be received with a broken heart. Mind you a broken heart is not the same with a repentant heart. A broken heart is filled with sadness or bitterness while a repentant heart is one that seeks forgiveness and instructions to move forward.God”s voice is only connectible to a heart that is full of joy.Isa30vs29-21.Revelation from God demands that your heart is full of jubilation. To arrive in His presence, you need to be joyful. Each time you wear a long face it’s an indication that you have a long way to go. Both joy and sadness are contagious, which of the two do you want to spread? A joyful lifestyle is your birth right.
The steps above are surefire ways by which you can access the virtues/secrets in the word of God. If you follow and apply them with diligence, your access to greater revelations and victories are guaranteed in life.
