Dear Parents,
If children can learn Fairy Tale Stories and recite Nursery Rhymes, then we should also help them learn some Bible Stories and Verses. Here are four tips which begin with the letters of the word SAVE.

Singing and Sunday School

When I was a young girl I joined the children’s choir in our church that was why I remembered some Bible verses  because of the songs we sang.I also attended Sunday School for children while my parents attended the Sunday school for adults that was why I learned to enjoy listening to Bible Stories.

Action

If young children will follow an action while reciting the Bible verses they will not have a hard time learning it.Here is one example:

               Verse                                              Action

Love the Lord Your God.               ( Hug yourself )

VeggieTales

Let the children watch the VeggieTales so that they will get interested in Bible stories and verses. Take a peek on their version of David and Goliath.

Encourage

Let’s encourage our children to join in the activities of the church.By being supportive to our children, we can help them be interested to learn Bible Verses and Stories.

Teaching the Bible is much the same as teaching them fairy stories and nursery rhymes anyway. Do you teach them that fairy stories are all true? Do you teach them how to examine the evidence and make their own minds up?

yes, it’s hard to get children’s attention and it’s even harder to get them interested in the Bible that’s why i thought of these simple ways to help my four year old son be interested.

    Sincere,
Children learning the Bible and believing in His words strengthen their faith.Fairy Tales are make believe and Nursery Rhymes are just rhymes but everything we learn from the Bible are true.

    AC,
I am glad you left that comment. If parents will help their children know about God’s words, when these children grow up,they will share the GOOD NEWS no matter what other people may say.
Let’s just pray for those who still don’t know Him.
