For many the economic situation has put a damper on their Christmas celebration. Sometimes without realizing it we allow worries of the world to get us down and rob us of our peace. How is it we so easily forget who He is, and what He is? He’s everything we need in every situation. Do you believe God can and will speak a word in your life? Have you taken the time to talk to him about your concerns? Have you cast your cares on him and left them with him? And have you thanked Him for your life? You might ask why thank him for a life that in many ways seems to be killing me slowly. I imagine Jesus could have said or felt the same way. ‘Why thank Him for my life knowing I’m destine to die. Born of a virgin, nurtured in love, yet destine to die for people who don’t believe in me and many who won’t love me?’ Yet he was obedient. He looks to a greater picture a greater meaning, a greater purpose. He looked to please the father. Trusting him without regards for self. He took up his cross and walked. Are you will to do the same? Are you will to look to him for that joy that come is the midst of the storm? Do you believe he’s well able? He’s able to take care of every concern, every need, and every situation. He loves us far more than the mind can conceive or imagine. No matter what you may be experiencing take hold and believe, joy will come in the morning.

The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
