This present age, is classified as perilous times when mankind will lose morals, and behave indecently, history will take an extraordinary turn of event, and cause the people of society to turn away their ears from the truth, giving into fables and occultism, Christians will remain the light of the world, with their obligation to Christ they will refuse the mark of the beast, but those who do will trade in their testimony for a pot of gold that cant be spend.
The current disturbance of the physical world, has been caused by mankind’s wilful disregard to Gods laws, hence the consequences of our conduct has hasten the day of wrath that will cause the current problems we are facing in the world to escalate.
2 Peter 3:3-4 “First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this coming he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
Even in the grander of more affluent lifestyle, the atmosphere will be charged with evil proprieties, principalities from all around the world will be queuing to make the enactment of satanic rule a reality. When this happens, earth will be in a state of flux.
Men and women will run to the rock for cover, but the rock will need cover for itself, it is at this time that Gods people will need a sanctuary to flea for refuge, and Petra will come to their aid. The sanctuary within the wall, away from public gaze, away from the media, untouched by the earthquakes showing no sign of let up. Petra will be a safe haven amides the clamour and commotion
Petra is a sanctuary of refuge prepared by God for his people during the latter times, when the Antichrist comes and captures Jerusalem, turning the holy city into the spoils of war. Petra is one of the treasures of the ancient world still standing today, untouched by the rise of modern civilisation, as one of the wonders of the world, its inhabitants have long since departed.
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Revelation 12:14
But in the future it will play a very important part in the lives of Jewish people, where according to the Holy Scriptures; this vast and unique city, which lies between the rocks, will play host for thousands of people fleeing the wrath of the beast.
