What kind of attitude are you walking in as you live your life, one day at a time? What are you expecting? What foundation are you standing upon that gets you through the trials and tribulations you now may be facing? Do you have any dreams, or hopes; ones that you actually reach out to fulfill? Or do you just dream and hope, not taking the steps to give yourself that chance? How about this, are you walking in a spirit of fear relating to just living your life? Is there a sadness that hinders you from being yourself? There is something we each should know and realize, and that is, we all are going through something. We all are going through realities that affect us one way or another, in one form or another. There are things that will come up, that we haven’t even experience yet. Does the unknown scare you, affecting your present reality of living? Is your health bringing you down, or is someone you know suffering from sort of illness, (Maybe you are going through both) thus, affecting your reality? Rich or poor, black or white and all of the colors in between, We All, are facing something. So ask yourself, “How do I handle my everyday living, what do I expect from others and myself, in getting what I want or need – in surviving on this Earth?”
In all that you are going through, in all that you must face, what is your foundation in getting through all of it? Who or what do you depend on? Is it yourself; is it someone else that has become your strength? Is it human intellect and reasoning that gets you through? In The Land of the Living, while you are able to breath, what or who, are you leaning on? If you say in your heart that Jesus, the Messiah, is your hope; then there is a certain attitude you are to have, there are certain things you are to expect from Him. Psalms 27:13 reads, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Think about what is being said here, understand the statement being made — “I would have lost heart”. What are you going through, that makes you feel as if you are about to lose your heart, your hope, your joy, your peace, your spiritual rest? In your mind is your situation so big that your hope in God has gone away, you see no way out, you expect nothing good coming towards you? If you have no hope in God through His Son, Jesus the Christ, then this can be expected; but, if your hope is Him, then you are to expect the goodness of God, to come your way. When everything is all said and done, when you have stepped out as far as you can, when you have done all that you can, do you say, “I expect to see the Goodness of God come in my life, while I walk in the Land of the Living — relating to my situation.” Or, do you just let the situation dictate your emotional reality, bringing you down, taking away your hope, stealing your Spiritual Rest? Remember, faith is a gift, which means, you already have everything inside of you, to experience God’s Rest and Peace, in the mist of your troubles (As an individual, you must learn how to walk in this Gift), read Ephesians, 2:8-10; Hebrews 11:1. Hebrews 11:6 reads as this, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” So, do you really believe; do you claim His Promises; do you Confess them to yourself, over and over? Read Joshua 1:8-9. Do you expect to see God work on your behalf, relating to what you are going through? If so, then be at Peace in your heart and mind (Don’t let your thoughts get the best of you); wait upon Him to act on your behalf. Know that while you are alive that God can and will work things out for you. Realize that God wants to manifest Himself to you in The Now, in the Present Moments of life; if only to give you an assurance that everything is going to workout for His good. He wants to keep your mind on His Son and what He accomplished for you to experience on a daily basis, read Philippians 4:4-9. Let Psalms 27:14 be a part of you daily, while you are able to walk in the Land of the Living, the verse reads as this, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” Are you waiting, are you of good courage? If so, He will strengthen your heart, to face what you must. So, wait upon the Lord; because He has given you the ability to do so, through His Holy Spirit. Learn how to walk in His Spirit, so your personal situations can not get the best of you, read John 4:23-24 (Read whole chapter when possible) John 14-16; Isaiah 55; Psalms 119.
Everyone is going through something they don’t like, something they have to accept, that they wish wasn’t there. How do you handle yourself, do you expect to see the Goodness of God, in the Land of the Living? Or do walk as a person who does not believe? Your personal Attitude, will determine the direction you walk in, in overcoming the situations you are in and will one day face, as you walk In The Land Of The Living.

Great words, very inspirational. God has so much in store for us.
