While walking toward the mountains of Moriah, Isaac becomes inquisitive. His small boy frame, heavy with wood, and with the torch his father carries, Isaac cannot help but inquire, “Where is the lamb for the burnt offerings?”
“And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offerings?”
In this story of Genesis, chapter 22, we learn that there will be no lamb for this burnt offering, nor for this Abraham’s testing.
“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.”
The “Book of the Beginning” does not answer Isaac’s question. This story offers no lamb for a burnt offering. With mercy, a ram is offered up in place of the beloved and only son.
What of you? Are you able to answer Isaac’s question? Do you know where the lamb is for the offering?
John the Baptist knew the answer to Isaac’s question and he offered it in the Gospel of John:
“And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God.”
Along with Christ, Abraham also was able to answer Isaac’s question:
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.”
The disciple John can answer Isaac’s question:
“And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.”
Revelations 5: 6-7
Angels, beasts, and the elders can answer Isaac’s question:
“And I beheld, and heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
Sheep, are you now ready to answer Isaac’s question? Elect in Christ, are you now ready to join in the “Jubilees?”
This is the acceptable time to preach the returning of Lamb of God, our Messiah, Jesus the Christ. With repentance we wait for our resurrection and rapture.
Magnify the name of the Lord with praise, honor, and blessing!
With a greater love,

I come in the name of the Lord and have been sent to call the Elect of Christ unto repentance, for the kingdom of God is at hand, nigh unto the door. Make the path straight for the return of our Lord! Watch and pray! “Father, extend the kingdom of Your Son Jesus.”
