It is Okay to be Angry with God

A testimony and quick summary of why it is okay to be angry with God at times.

Jeremiah was angry with god, David went on Psalm after Psalm and was angry with god, Job was angry with god. It is okay to be angry with god.

It is okay to be angry with god.  A friendship is a test of emotions, and no relationship goes without someone being mad at someone else one time or another.  God wants to have a friendship with us.

I for years got so tied up in my own life that I started neglecting god.  I even at one point quit going to church.  I really thought I had this life of flesh all worked out.  Then financial trouble hit me so fast that my head was spinning.

I found that someone I was working for was crooked as a jaybird.  I had all of my funds frozen in a bank account.  I no longer could afford my rent, I lost my car then a week later I lost my license for driving drunk.  I deserved every bit of what I got.

I became foolish and decided to make decision in the flesh.  That is when the trouble started.  I knew I shouldn’t of taken the job, but I didn’t listen.  I knew I shouldn’t have drove but was a drunk.

Within two weeks I was homeless without a car and fighting a DUI conviction.  I finally got myself alone and screamed at god for letting all this happen too me.  I heard a small voice say inside of me say “Welcome Back”.  A flood of emotions filled me and I knew that I tried to do things on my own.  I tried to make decision without talking with god!  I fell away from him!  I then just cried and repented.

Things didn’t turn around over night because there is a lot that I was being taught, but if I had not gotten angry, I wouldn’t have finally talked to God.

I am still dealing with that experience but now I am thanking god!  I no longer drink, I have a steady job, and although money is sometimes tight god makes it work.

God loves to hear us talk to him that is why he created us.  God was lonely and knew his potential for all of us and he knew what he was getting into when he decided to make man and woman.

If we hold are anger then it will fester inside of us and cause much more damage to our faith then letting loose on god it spreads like a black cancer.  Our hearts can start getting hardened and depression can set in if we don’t start venting to the Lord.

God has his ears open to every one of us.  He knows when we are angry with him so to act like you are not is foolish.  Let it out, shout to the heavens!  Let god know what your problem is because we must speak it.  All praise and criticism should come from the mouth because that is acknowledging our lord.

Don’t give god the silent treatment that is the worst thing that you can do.  Anger is part of a healing process.  If you have had enough with bad situations happening, then let our father know.  Trust me on this he can handle the criticism that is what a relationship and friendship is all about.

If two friends have a problem and one of them never says anything about it, how is the other to know there is an issue?  Think about it.  What happens when you quit talking to your friend?  Over time relationships will start to suffer.  Friends quit talking and phoning, eventually they will stop hanging out.  Do you think God ever wants to stop hanging out? No!

Our Lord knows when we are going to be upset and we have every right to be!  Sometimes he will make a situation keep festering in our life until we get to a breaking point and finally we have to curse at him and shout at him.  Then he will say to us “It’s about time you started talking to me, again!”  It is then a person might realize that they quit talking with the lord because their schedule got to busy.

The lord will take a response from someone happy or mad because he loves every single one of us.  Just as long as he can get that persons attention so he can start working in their lives once again.

If your schedule gets to busy to talk with the Lord, watch out because things might get hard until he finally gets your attention.  If you experienced suffering then don’t hold it in.  God can’t start helping you heal until you let it out.

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU WERE MORE MAD AT YOURSELF THAN GOD . MAYBE BECAUSE YOU FELT LIKE YOU FAILED HIM. WE HAVE TO STAY CHARGED UP IN THE LORD EVERYDAY IN PRAYER. AND READING HIS WORD. IF NOT. THEN WE ARE WEAK. AND TEMPTED TO DO WRONG. ASK GOD TO ALLOW YOU TO KNOW HIM BETTER. AND TO PUT A DEEPER LOVE IN YOUR HEART FOR HIM AND TO FILL YOU WITH HIS HOLY SPIRIT.NEVER GIVE UP, NO MATTER HOW DISAPPOINTED YOU ARE IN YOURSELF.IT IS ALL ABOUT CHRIST AND WHAT HE DONE FOR US ON THE CROSS. JESUS IS COMING SOON TO GET HIS PEOPLE WHO ACCEPTED HIM IN THEIR HEARTS ,GOD KNOWS WHO WE ARE. LETS BE READY TO GO. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET REALLY CLOSE TO GOD TELL HIM HOW GOOD HE IS ,OVER AND OVER . IF YOU DO THIS AND DON’T FEEL HIS LOVE AND PRESENCE THEN I WOULD SAY YOUR FEELINGS ARE TURNED OFF. THE BIBLE SAYS GOD INHABITS THE PRAISES OF HIS PEOPLE.I SENSE YOU KNOW THE LORD BUT YOU NEED TO GROW IN HIM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE HELPED YOU. A VERY GOOD FRIEND IN CHRIST. JEAN,

Thank you Jean for the comment! I have sinced practice waking up every morning and spending time praising the lord! Then I will meditate in the word, I do that before my first cup of coffee. Smith Wigglesworth once said that he only prays for fifteen minutes but doesn’t go more then fifteen minutes without praying! :)

    Thank you again, God Bless
