Jesus, Jesus, Jesus that’s all I want is Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. Just think about it a little and consider the following scripture that Jesus spoke. Mark 16:17 (KJV) “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils.” If you have ever dealt with demonic power successfully you would have found that there are two ingredients necessary for that success.
- The first one is that you must have a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ
- The second is that you must use the name of Jesus to be effective. You can’t use the name of Peter, James or Paul. You can’t even use the name of Mary. You can only use the name of Jesus and by his name only can you release the power to overcome such evil.
The name of Jesus was used by Apostle Peter to heal a man. Acts 3:1-9 (KJV) “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God.”
The reason the name of Jesus is so powerful is because God gave Jesus a name that is above every name to the point that everybody else that has a name must bow down to his name. Phil 2:8-10 (KJV) says “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” So as you can see there is power in that name.
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior now is the time. Jesus said in John 14:6(KJV)”I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” This means that Jesus is the only way to the Father God to have eternal live. It is not through Buddha, Mohamed or any other person except Jesus. To except Jesus as Lord means to make him the master of your life. It means that you will start seeing what Jesus said in the Bible and start doing that. It means that you will start asking yourself “what would Jesus do in this situation” and do it instead of something else. It does not mean that you will start judging other people but you will start correcting your own life. The bible says in Romans 10:13 that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So if you pray this prayer and mean it with all your heart you will start a new life with God. The Holy Spirit will come into your life and you will receive eternal life with God.
Pray this prayer “Father God I come to you in the name of Jesus. I call upon you for salvation from sin. I know that I have sinned in my life and ask for forgiveness. I now receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior. I chose to serve you all of the rest of my live however long or short that is. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name amen.” Now that you have received Jesus Christ into your life you need to go to a Bible believing church that preaches the Bible. Pray and ask God which one he wants you to go to. Be careful that they only preach the Bible and nothing else. Start to read the Bible yourself. Start with the New Testament and read it first. I recommend that you don’t read the book of Revelations the first year that you serve the Lord but feel free in following years. I love you man (or woman whatever the case may be). I want the best for you. Remember that Jesus cares for you and he wants the best for you to. The Bible says that that God will never leave you or forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) God Bless you and take care of you.
