Lord Jesus, what are we allowing our children to be taught today? If our forefathers taught the children to sing, “let freedom ring,” and we do not teach this anymore, then what are the fathers of today teaching our children to sing?
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
In what “way” should our children go? Should our children go in the “way” of freedom, in the “way” of Jesus Christ? Notice the first word in Proverbs 22:6, “train.” Could children be “trained” in the “way” of freedom, Jesus Christ? Should children be “trained” in the “way” of freedom, Jesus Christ? If our forefathers taught our children “let freedom ring,” what are today’s fathers teaching our children?
Would “let freedom ring” teach our children selfishness and introverted-ness? Has “let freedom ring” brought about the existence of the ME generation? (teach = train)
In contrast, would “let freedom ring” teach our children generosity and extroverted-ness? (teach = train) “Let freedom ring” serves a purpose, for those who have heard “let freedom ring” must give a response, to accept or reject the call of “let freedom ring,” as to say, the gospel of Christ Jesus.
If our modern day contemporaries are teaching us that “let freedom ring” is a fool’s folly, then what has the modern day contemporary used to replace our forefather’s teaching of “let freedom ring” and how has this nourished the nation? Has the teaching or training of the modern day contemporary brought about peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, and peace in our nation?
Does “let freedom ring” matter to men? Should “let freedom ring” matter to men? Would “let freedom ring” matter to God? And if “let freedom ring” matters to God, should it likewise matter to men? Answer and give an account!
By faith, can “let freedom ring” re-teach and re-train the ME generation to become the We generation, a generation that values “let freedom ring?” (teach = train)
O pastors, O congregation, do you sense a difference between the “great commission” and “let freedom ring?”
O pastors, O congregation, if you sense no difference between the “great commission” and “let freedom ring”, then may we, the church, pick up where our forefathers left off and teach our children “let freedom ring” in the church by the way of the hymn “My Country Tis of Thee” at each and every Sunday Service?
O pastors, O congregation, if the schools refuse to teach “let freedom ring” and the church refuses to teach “let freedom ring,” then we pray, who will teach our children, “let freedom ring?”
Will TV shows containing sex and violence teach our children “let freedom ring?” Will the guns, violence, and murdering in video games teach our children “let freedom ring”? Will teenage romance novels about vampires and Harry Potter teach our children “let freedom ring?”
Yet, before we can put forth in abundance the song of “let freedom ring” upon the land, we first must search our hearts and know if “let freedom ring” dwells within, and that we have made “let freedom ring” the treasurer of our hearts.
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:21
And what is the purpose “of the people, by the people, for the people”, if we have not made “let freedom ring” the treasure of our hearts!
This is the acceptable time to preach the returning of our Lord, with repentance we “let freedom ring and reign!”
Magnify the name of the Lord and “let freedom ring!”
With a greater love,

I come in the name of the Lord and have been sent to call the Elect of Christ unto repentance, for the kingdom of God is at hand, nigh unto the door. Make the path straight for the return of our Lord! Watch and pray! “Father, extend the kingdom of Your Son Jesus.”
