I invite you tonight to write a letter to God. He is known by many names in many cultures. But I believe that it matters not what name you have given to God, God will listen to your prayers. You must believe that he will answer.
A strange concept most will think. But for those of us who like to write out our thoughts and worries this is perfect.
I wrote a long letter to God tonight to share with him my thoughts, concerns, worries and hopes. I did this with the knowledge that God is always listening to us. And knowing that God speaks to us all every day. You must just stop to listen.
In these troubled times many of us forget we can talk to God. We can tell God everything within our heart. It is not that God does not know these things already. Voice those things in your heart that keep you from the peace. State them with the conviction. Know that you are no longer need to be burdened with them. Let God take them and bring you peace with in your soul, mind and heart.
God will answer.
