Have you ever thought about what kind of mark you are leaving in this world as you go through your day? Are you spreading love, joy, and peace to your environment, or are you causing pain, anger, and misery? Well, I have thought about these questions and aim to spread joy, love, and peace to my surroundings.
I believe every step I take should be one of purpose, one that has an impact in my environment, and in the world I live in. The only way this can truly be accomplished successfully is to do things God’s way. I evaluate my life constantly to make sure I am fulfilling purpose and moving in the right direction. For me, it’s all about God getting the glory out of what I do. My footprints should be leaving a mark that leads someone straight to God. I teach others how I live and how to live through my daily interactions and conversations with them. My life tells the story of who Jesus is because I am following the examples He left behind.
I know it is hard at times to stay on the right path when things around us are negative and seems hopeless. However, God has equipped all of us with everything we need to fulfill purpose and to make a difference in our surroundings. The bible is the map I use to be equipped, get to my destination, and to fulfill my dreams. It teaches me how to be loving, kind, live in peace with everyone, and most of all, to be obedient to God who is the source of my life. I believe God can be experienced in such a phenomenal way that will cause a person to scratch his or her head for days. Surrendering to God’s purpose and plan is the key to leaving behind a set of footprints that is inspirational, filled with valuable lessons, and is life changing. For those who don’t believe me, I dare you to seek God, and see what happens.
Here’s a thought….
Whether good or bad, the mark we leave today will be influential tomorrow. So what set of footprints are you leaving behind? Watch your step.

all of this is very true
Thank you, C. Marting. All I know is I want to leave an imprint that will make a difference in someone’s life.
We all have a purpose in this world and the greatest prize that we can ever look forward to is the day we face our maker and we can only hope that we will hear the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
How true Athena. God bless.
Another reminder for us to examine our actions. I like this article. ” the Bible is my map” so true.
I have to say I wish they would stop with the billion and one translations. The KVJ is so very beautiful.
