You must declare that He’s your Savior and LORD and commit yourself to reading the bible daily, praying daily, and joining a bible believing local church where you will receive godly instruction that will prosper you in all areas of your life. God established these principles to teach you His ways, to encourage you to follow His ways, and to help you get out of the troubles that the world has trapped you in.
Your alternative is to keep doing what you’ve been doing and continue your downward financial spiral. Those who rebel at the word of God continue to suffer hard times. Unbelievers suffer naturally and eternally. Believers who resist living by God’s design suffer naturally and sometimes eternally. Biblical instruction applies to everyone, believer and unbeliever alike with regard to the principles and methods God wants you to employ to responsibly manage the resources He’s allowed to come into your life.
You cannot produce the fruit that God desires unless you utilize His principles. When doing so, you will see prosperity overtake each area of your life as you devote your life to the LORD, His people, and His mission.
