Mark Lowry, a Christian comedian, song writer, wrote the words to “Mary Did You Know?” in 1984 when his pastor asked him to write the program for a choir presentation. The music was written by Buddy Greene.

I like this one. I used the words of it in my scrapbooking when I made the costumes and painted the backdrops for a church nativity as I thought the words were lovely and had tha photo of the little Mary and her doll on that scrapbooking page.
