I would like to first begin with this statement. I write this article on the perspective or from the mutual side of things. I will not give my personal opinion on the matter solely for the result of more views. I will say this, form the timely process of reading this article I am sure you can come up to your own conclusion of what my opinion could be.
According to Verizon News Central Brian Vasil, Internet Pastor of Flamingo Roads online church said “the goal is to not let people at home feel like they’re watching whats happening, but they’re part of it. They’re participating.”
Kurt Erwing, the overseer of the Internet campus for Central Christian Church online said, “we live in a day and age and a culture where people go to school online, bank online, date online, and do other things online, why not create a platform for them to go to Church online?” The church started a new church service this fall on Facebook.
I can understand Kurts reasoning for this new avenue, but come on seriously Mr. Vasil.
Yes it is true that the tool of a web browser is changing the world as we know it, we can either use this to benefit us or to dis benefit us.
The world wide web is exercisable in just about every major city and beyond, WiFi is available in almost every coffee shop, Hotel, and our fast food restaurants.
But readers let me say this, you can also go any where in this country and look to your left to your right or even behind you or in front of you and find a church. They are also available and accessible almost around every street corner, and also even some churches also have WiFi capability at their location.
You can’t really use the excuse that you can’t find a church if they are ol so reachable.
According to Verizon News Central Tim Stevens, Granger executive Pastor said, “fifty years ago you could expect everyone to come to you, but now we have to meet people where they are.”
Your thoughts….
According to the leadership network there is not an exact count on interactive online campus, but according to them their is at forty.
One of the most know online services site is LifeChurch.Tv, which to date is broadcasting 25+ online services each week and doesn’t plan to stop.

According to Verizon News Centrals article about this phenomenon, written by Rachel Zoll, she says “the sites share the same basic approach: rock- style worship music and a sermon recorded at the in-person weekend service that is quickly mixed with live or recorded greetings expressly for online viewers. Volunteers online live chat emphasize that day’s Bible teaching and block in appropriate posts.(During one recent service, a man who that he was logged on from India wrote that he was looking for a christian wife.)
These types of churches are also going to the extreme of even having baptisms online and even communion.
The Bible says to associate yourself within the assembly.
Your thoughts…
I am not here to put down or to lift up this idea. I apologize now for everyone who may be offended by this article and ask you to adventure these sites on your own free will.
