This article will bring freedom and deliverance from all forms of bondage; bondage is another name for ignorance. Every man’s ignorance is his mountain.

Hosea 4:6; many people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou hath rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee that thou shalt no priest to me.

It is only truth that can bring freedom. John 8:32: – and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

There is war in the spirit realm 24 hours everyday.

Eph. 6:12 for we wrestle not against and blood, but against principalities, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The only major weapon we have as Christians is prayer.

2cor. 10.4: – for the weapon of our warfare is not Carmel, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Rev. 12:7-12 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon and the dragon and his angels fought but they did not prevail, not was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world, he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven “Now salvation and strength and the Kingdom of our God” and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethren who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens and ye that dwell in them. “Woe to the inhabitants of wrath and of the see for devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that the harth but a short time

What is Prayer?

It is a means of communication in the spirit realm. It is a means of making our request know to God. It is the only tool that can sustain Christians, because God is a spirit. It can be directed to God as a request. It can also be directed to the devil as an attack. Prayer is a spiritual weapon of mass destruction.

(James 5:16 the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much.)

Prayer is a daily necessity and effective means of communication with the Almighty God. Prayer is the master key that unlocks all doors; Jesus used it and passed it to us. Prayer was important to Jesus as preaching, healing, sleep and rest.

(Mark 1:35 “ And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place and there prayed’)

(Luke6:12 “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.)

Jesus could not do without prayers, you cannot do without it.

(Luke 18:1 “ And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not to faint).

Prayer means speaking God’s will, and God’s word back to him except prayer is made in the spirit, which means that self-will and flesh must be crucified, it is only a spiritual person that can pray in the spirit.

(Gal. 5:16 “ This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”)

The spirit and the flesh struggle over who control. Obey the spirit because a fleshly man cannot pray successfully.

(Gal 12:20 “ I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless if live, yet not I but Christ lives in me”) Gal 5:24-25.

The way a man prays cannot be different form the way he lives. The quality of a man’s prayer is determined by his quality of life. Prayer is an exercise to spirit. Prayer strengthens the spirit as exercise strengthens the body.

There is a spiritual warfare everyday of our life. Prayer is one weapon against enemy.

(Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”)

(2 Corinthians 10:4 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.”)

Prayer can destroy everything of sin and Satan. Prayer is the most crucial thing in our warfare and work. The devil attacks the prayer life of any believer just before he can gain access to the believer.

A prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian. The success in our spiritual work and victory in warfare depends on prayer. If a believer fails in prayer he/she fails in everything.

Prayer changes not just things, it changes everything. When you learn the secret of prayer, miracle becomes a part of your life.

The devil smiles when we plan; laughs when we get busy but trembles when we pray. Prayers should be made ahead of problems; you defend by attacking through prayers, don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Common people do not pray, they beg. Prayers cannot be answered until they have prayed.

(Matthew 7:7-8 says “Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth and he that seeketh findeth and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.”)

(James 4:2 “Ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.”)

What you must understand is that prayer is a dialogue not a monologue. Listen to God when you pray He will speak to you. (1 Samuel 9:10 “Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, go lie down and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shall say, speak Lord for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came and stood and called as at other times Samuel! Samuel! Then Samuel answered speak for thy servant heareth.”)
