Time can be so cruel.  People who we perceive to be our best friends turn out to be the ones who hurt us the most.  They spend all their free time with us, maybe have lunch with us regularly, maybe a night that we hang out and play games, or other such things.  We think about them a lot and pray for them and their happiness more than our own.  We try to see that they are happy above and beyond our own happiness.  It could be a close friend we’ve known for many years, or one we just met.  So many things run through my mind right now as I write, yet I listen to the recordings I made at our church of singing and the gospel.  I love to hear Sis sing, it’s so uplifting and inspirational.  It really moves my soul.  Maybe it isn’t you going through this right now, maybe it is someone you love dearly, like a  sister…or a brother.  Perhaps it is someone close to your heart feeling and being betrayed right at this very moment in time.  Hopefully this will bring some peace to your heart and soul and take away some of the pain.  You know exactly who you are right now.

You can always turn to God, taking your prayers to the alter.  You can make an alter if you aren’t at church right now.  Go in your closet or bathroom, somewhere quiet and peaceful.  Give it all to Him.  Confess it all and ask Him to give you the heart of forgiveness as He has forgiven you.  You can go to His word and He will tell you exactly what to do.  His spirit will cleanse you.  Know that you don’t have to confess it to anyone else, that He is your heavenly father, and He will cleanse you and take away your pain.  Ask Him to help you to love thy neighbor as thyself, and to love thy enemies.  When someone wrongs you, bless them…turn the other cheek and ask God to forgive them for they know not what they do.  Ask that He bless them.  He will deal with their sins in His time and way.

Pastor Cheatham once said that you have to keep fighting back and soon the devil will give up saying, “they aren’t backing down.”  He may not go away forever, but at least for a while you will have some peace.  Also know that God will NEVER give you more than you can handle, even if it is a mouthful, a heavy burden, or heartache.  For in your weakness He is made strong.  He is always there by your side.  If you are weak let Him be strong through you.  Let Him show you His strength.  Don’t ever give up on God because He has never, isn’t now, and never will give up on you.  When you are weak HE IS STRONG….  Let Him be the crutch for you to lean on.  Go to the enemie’s camp and take back what he stole from you…your peace, joy, happiness, and love.  Stand in the face of Satan telling him, “Get thee behind me Satan, for you have walked on me bout long enough, and now I’m gonna walk all over you.” Don’t show him fear and never back down from him.  With God nothing is impossible.  He’ll lead you through the end of time.  When you fell like you are going through hell, He will lead you back home.  Never give up.  Thank God for His word and all that He has done for me and for you.  Remember lean on the EVERLASTING ARMS.  He is always there waiting on you, waiting for you to tell Him your problems, to help take the pain away.  Just call on Him and He will answer.  God bless and love often.

Amen
