Published by I have been praying to God for a particular help aside my other needs that would be solved only by Him since May this year and He just answered me last August. Waoh! Was my immediate reaction of unbelief when it dawned on me that my prayer has been answered.
I learnt a lot from it all. God’s ways and time schedule are expressively different from humans’ own. That He doesn’t listen to our prayers is a lie as He is always there to listen to even our inner thoughts mechanisms. When I started praying in May, I was hoping He would answer me within weeks, but God took all His time. I was exposed to various harsh conditions and made to go through hallowing experiences that still give me goose pimples. At some point, I doubted if He would answer me at all.
But one thing that kept me going was the help I received from a pastor friend of mine who took me to other pastors who prayed for me and equally, the little financial help I was getting from people who didn’t even know what I was going through in life.
When God decided to answer my prayer, he answered me with a bang. I have other prayer points especially that of good health, but that of financial has been taken care of considering the amount of money I had spent this year in securing a new flat, my wedding and traditional marriage ceremonies which took their tolls on my finances in the face of witholding of one’s salary for over three months in a row.
The entire experience shook my faith in God, but thank God He answers prayers that are said to Him from a humble heart. Believe me, there is no manner of prayer God does not answer so long as it is an honest supplication of your real needs.
I thank God He answered me and I believe he will meet you at your point of needs.
