Communication with God can help us escape from trouble. I think not believing in him and not praying to him is the reason we have so many problems in this life. When we pray, do not think that your prayers go up and hit the ceiling to come back down. Prayers that come from the heart with faith can move God.

We can receive reward from God when we pray. (Matt. 6:6) But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward the openly.

Prayer can help us receive deliverance from harm when we pray to God. God sent Daniel deliverance by an angel to shut the lions’ mouths when he was in the den of lions (Daniel 6: 22).

Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Jesus said, “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever….(John 14:14-16).”

When the disciples prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together ( Acts 4:31), and an earthquake opened the doors of the prison (Acts 16:25-26).

Some people think that prayer is a waste of time. Our prayers do make a difference and can bring God into our lives even more. It can make him come closer to us, and we can be closer to God. We can walk and talk with him. Prayer has great power over everything because of God who will hear us if we pray.

Extremely well quoted from the Bible. And we know that the only link we have to God the Father is through Jesus Christ, our intercessor and High priest. Yes, the power of prayer is eternal. Thank you Gail.

You did a great job, Gail. I also agree that we do need to pray because God does hear our prayers.
