These are the nine principles of Anton Szandor Lavey. I also paraphrase it in my own words and understanding. This is a matter of self-opinion, not necessarily advocating a religion.
- It represents indulgence not abstinence: We are part of this world we live in. Indulgence is not bad because it is a matter on how you will use it. How will you use indulgence? Is it going to ruin your soul or spirit? God created heaven. He also created Satan.
- Satan is spiritual: God is also spiritual. What is the difference?
- It represents wisdom than self-deceit: Practical application and common sense are very useful. In the Bible, it states that we should be as wise as a serpent and as inocent as doves. Therefore, we can play ignorant to catch the idiot.
- Compassion is for those who deserve it: Well, who wants to throw their pearls or golds to the dogs or pigs?
- Vengeance is best served cold: Vengeance is an art. You can succeed it if you can overcome your ego.
- Be responsible for your own good: God is not a genie. That is a fact.
- All sins lead to whollistic gratification: If we know how to bounce back from our mistakes, we can be improved intellectually and spiritually.
- Satan exists: Because God created him. He is in us. We should not blame any non-Protestant religion for being Satanic.
