Separation of Church and State
What is truly meant with this statement? How does one separate and what exactly is the Church?
Is the church a belief, religion, lifestyle?
What is the meaning of separation?
Is separation a law to forbid, intolerance, staying away from?
Prayer, what is that? Is that the Church? Can a person really not be allowed to close their eyes and communicate?
Religious Examples
Will a Muslim be kicked out of school, the workplace or government owned institution for praying? Do people stop someone from meditating, and propose legislation against private conversation?
Will the voice of children be shut down for mentioning, Yin/Yang, Zen, Nirvana, Mohamed, Allah, Buddha, John Smith, Confucius and such? Will they be sent to court? Will they be banned from ever mentioning such names or forbiden to close their eyes to think, contemplate, communicate…pray about such things?
How many court cases have you seen or heard of that dealt with the above beliefs? Something to ponder, why is there not an equality of censorship with ALL religious beliefs?
Throughout the WORLD, laws are passed and strictly enforced. People are imprisoned, tortured and even killed for a certain belief. This passion to “separate” is pretty much universal not just with our “State”
Most religions in general are pretty much tolerated except for one. ONE name can cause people to get killed, thrown in jail, kicked out of school, work, or even their home.
Is the Church a Building
What is the definition that is used, or what idea is conjured up when separation of church and state is mentioned? Do you picture cathedrals, mosks, synagogues when the word church is mentioned? But is it really?
In reality the “Church” can not be a building because how can it be in school or government institutions? So if the Church is not a building, what is it?
The Church
Why are some Religions tolerated but ONE is not?
ONE name that disrupts the very core of man to the point of trying to eliminate any thought, or utterance of that name.
Can that ONE name be considered a church? Once again what is the definition of the church? Well the consensus seems to be one over riding theme.
If it is not a building, it is not religion, it is not a place. The evidence points to a person.
ONE name.
JESUS
When that name is uttered, fingers point, anger rises, separation is demanded. Tolerance is no longer an option, and censorship is imposed.
Why?
Everywhere in the world the evidence points to the same conclusion.
JESUS is the church. Every other belief, religion, or lifestyle can be endured, but this ONE name is not.
The very mention of this one name demands there to be a separation.
By sheer use, just saying His name is unanimously considered THE CHURCH.
In light of all this, one may consider Philippians 2:9-11 and understand the relevance of that statement. If it were not so, then why is there not an equality of separation with All religions and their founders?
Something to think about.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

But even in your bible (and I have read this) there is a moment when the followers of Jesus ran to him angry because they had discovered men who were casting out demons but not in Jesus’ name. It was the admonition of this man Jesus that they were to be left alone to do their good work. How then are you jealous that others in the world should be provided with neutrality from government so they can also go about to do what good they have determined to do?
The purpose of this was not to demand equality, but to recognize the universal theme of Jesus name being silenced.
Ages past, present, and future have not, do not nor will not tolerate the name of Jesus to be spoken freely.
thanks for reading
The sky is not falling…..I hear and read Jesus\’ name daily. If seperation of state and religion is being contested mainly over that one name as you say, it may be because there are those not content to have their freedom of religion but are insisting that others have it too. However, others may want the same rights you have and use….to choose their own beliefs.
