Alright, the Shroud of Turin, which supposedly was put over the body of Christ during the time of the burial, is probably the biggest mystery right now. Yup, the Shroud of Turin is right up their with Big Foot and the Lochness monster.
Recently the Shroud of Turin has been given a lot of publicity. All this publicity started with the public display of the shroud in Turin, Italy. So I decided that I had to give my take on such a popular topic.
Now you have to first understand what the shroud really is. The Shroud of Turin shows a face of a man who appears to have been crucified. It might be Jesus or it might just be the hundreds of other who were probably crucified by the romans. Only God knows who’s face it really is.
Now personally, I believe its a bunch of trash. No offense to any Catholic Christians, but from my take on history ,relics like these popped up when they were most convenient to the power of the church. Not only that but Radiocarbon testing dated it back 1260-1930, with 95% chance it was correct. Of course people claim the test is not legitimate and that the samples could have been contaminated, but seriously stop kidding yourself. How many relics do you think Jesus left behind?
